Builder Registration

Smile Constructions holds a current Domestic Builder — Unlimited registration with the Victorian Building Authority (VBA). This authorises us to carry out all classes of domestic building work in Victoria, including new homes, renovations, extensions, and structural alterations.

You can verify our registration at any time by searching the VBA public register at vba.vic.gov.au.

Insurance

We carry insurance on every project — not just the big ones. This protects you, your property, and our team throughout the entire construction process.

We can provide certificates of currency on request before any project begins.

Statutory Warranties

All domestic building work in Victoria is covered by statutory warranties under the Domestic Building Contracts Act 1995:

- Structural defects: 10-year warranty

- Non-structural defects: 6-year warranty

- Work performed in a proper and workmanlike manner

- Work completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and all applicable regulations
